Based on several preparatory meetings held through electronic communication channels, the first transnational meeting in Belgrade was an opportunity for project partners and professional associates to meet live, exchange their experiences and establish understanding of all activities necessary for successful project implementation. Obligations have been defined in order to collect information sources and materials for the preparation of educational workshops in schools, as well as for the development of a project brochure that will serve as an information manual for all stakeholders dealing with this phenomenon and improving the situation in sports. All partners got acquainted with the activities of their organizations and experiences that are important for the development of ideas of the current project. Significant contribution to the gathering was given by guest participants and scientific consultants who presented their insights and highlighted various aspects of the phenomenon of cheering, current measures to prevent and neutralize the negative sides of cheering in the region and the world, as well as the views of this phenomenon from a active football referee and sport journalist.
